Jim Northrup
is Managing Partner and founder of ClearSight Solutions. Jim brings over 25 years of senior Human Resources
executive and business consulting experience to the firm.
Prior to founding the firm, Jim was Vice President and Head of worldwide Human
Resources for Kroll Inc., the world’s leading risk mitigation consulting firm. Jim’s
business experience also includes being one of the founding partners of IMCOR, Inc., which grew to
become the US’s leading human capital management firm specializing in “portable
executive” (temporary) placement and HR consulting services.
Earlier in
his career, Jim held senior positions in Human Resources including Vice President Human Resources
for V.I. Technologies, Inc. (“VITEX”), a leading biotechnology company, and Vice President,
Human Resources & Information Technology for a privately held mid-western pharmaceutical company. Jim
also held increasingly responsible human resources management positions with Merck & Co., Inc. (which
won Fortune Magazine’s ‘Most Admired Company award five years in a row), and
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.
Jim received his MBA from The Wharton School
and BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Don Duckworth
is the Chairman of ClearSight’s Board of Advisors. Don is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
of The CWD Group, a management consulting and private equity investment firm serving a wide array of clients,
from Fortune 50 global giants to small cap startups.
Prior to heading The CWD Group, Don was in the executive search industry and served as the
CEO and co-managing partner of two “global 20” search firms, Horton International and
Johnson, Smith & Knisely/Accord. Both firms operated in over twenty five countries with more than forty
offices, in such diverse locations as Shanghai, Hanoi, Kiev, Mumbai, Stockholm, Budapest, Prague, Buenos
Aires, and Santiago. Don pioneered the introduction of global account management programs in the executive
search industry and also introduced synergistic services in the areas of executive coaching, executive
assessment, and e-cruiting.
Before entering the executive search industry in 1993,
Don served in corporate leadership roles in the oil and gas industry with Standard Oil (Ohio) and BP.
Some of the positions he held were Vice President, Human Resources and Administration, Sohio Petroleum
Company; Chief of Staff, BP Exploration; and Senior Vice President, Change and Human Resources, BP
America. He also served on a number of the Company’s executive and board committees, including
the management, environment, contributions, and compensation committees.
Don is a
graduate of the University of Georgia; the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of
Virginia; and the US Army Command and General Staff College.
